Check that your router is working:

Believe it or not, there are times when your router does actually get spoiled, dies or whatever you want to call it. Every electronic component has a life and so does your router, to check if it is actually working you need to check it with another device. If another device is not detecting the wifi signal, you can be pretty sure that there is a problem with the router.
